Adolfo Saldivar
Vice-President
Adolfo Saldivar brings to the firm, not
only his administrative skills, but a vast number of technical
skills and experience in the technology of customshouse brokerage.
A graduate of the University of Texas at
El Paso in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering,
Mr. Saldivar has plied his knowledge to the many areas of transportation
and logistics. His first major job with Southern Pacific railroad
helped him hone his skills in project management, procedures,
infrastructure design, and other organizational systems.
In 1976, he joined a world leader in the
development of high end software including CAD. He swiftly moved
up the ranks from customer and sales support to management, responsible
for all phases of concept, design, development, and marketing
of new software products.
Mr. Saldivar joined Rudolph Miles &
Sons in 1985 as MIS Manager. He was instrumental in the development
and marketing of one of the first customshouse EDI systems to
successfully interface data electronically between the brokerage
and the U.S. Customs and the first EDI system between a customshouse
broker and its maquiladora clientele.
In 1992, he obtained his Customs Broker’s
license. After forming his own company handling all phases of
customs and logistics including warehousing and transportation,
he joined RM Customhouse Brokers, Inc. in 2001.
